Trash The Dress Sneak : Middle Georgia Wedding Photographer

A few months ago the planning started for a Trash The Dress session with the beautiful Summer J.  I knew, just as soon as she mentioned that paint would be involved, that it would be amazing.  I mean, a wedding dress + paint?  Amazing for sure.  On the day of the session we arrived early to help get things set up.  When we were nearly done getting everything ready, a storm started rolling in.  I was praying like mad that it would hold off long enough for us to complete the session!  We started shooting despite the booms of thunder and the whipping wind and as luck would have it, the rain held off for us.  In fact, it appeared to have rained everywhere but right where we were shooting!  Yay!

I love sessions where I can be as creative as possible.  Where I can play and just try different things.  Needless to say, this session was perfect for me.  I had the. best. time.  Summer and Jamie were so awesome and so willing to do whatever I asked of them.  Thanks you two - you were simply amazing!!

We started out nice and slow with Jamie just squirting paint onto the umbrella....which quickly progressed into the slinging paint with abandon stage....

And from slinging paint we jumped into just pouring it straight on!!

I seriously can't wait for my next Trash The Dress session - I think I might be slightly addicted to them lol!!

Brown Family Session : Middle Georgia Family Photographer

I always have so much fun at family sessions, especially when little ones are involved.  This particular session was no exception.  Their little boy was so. stinkin'. adorable.  I mean, come on, look at those cheeks!!   So precious!  And I just love, love, love his smile!

These next two photos crack me up - I've always said that kids have a radar that goes off any time mom and dad hug - these photos prove it! lol!

Sapp Family : Middle Georgia Family Photographer

Several months ago I hosted a contest on my Facebook Page and this gorgeous family came in at a very close second place.  While they didn't win, they still booked a session and I'm so glad that they did.  Kayla is very sweet and bubbly and I liked her right away - and that little boy - oh my!!  What stunning eyes and what a smile!  I could have photographed him all day.  We scheduled for an early morning session in the hopes that we could beat the heat (and those pesky gnats!)  Thankfully we had a wonderfully overcast morning and the heat was bearable.  I tried out a rarely used location and the session went beautifully!

Aren't those eyes just amazing!!!

This little guy just loved his mommy - it was so sweet - I love how he is holding on to her leg here ♥

Hodges Family Session : Middle Georgia Family Photographer

Right before we left on vacation we had the opportunity to photograph this gorgeous family.  I mean, seriously, they were gorgeous.  Those two little girls just melted my heart right from the beginning of our session.  They weren't sure what to make of me at first, but, after a little while I had them laughing!  They were so precious.  And those eyes!!  Their beautiful mom was so, so sweet and so patient.  It was super hot but these 3 were just awesome.  I can't wait to work with this family again in December!!!

Bailey Family Session : Middle Georgia Family Photographer

I absolutely love photographing families, especially families with young children.  It is always an adventure simply because with kids you have to literally just go with the flow.  I don't believe in forcing them to sit and smile.  I love capturing their true spirit, their unique personalities.  I always have so. much. fun photographing children and their families.  The Bailey family was no exception.  Right away I just loved their two precious girls.  They both had vibrant personalities and were so stinkin' cute!!  I mean, come on, red hair?  Curls?!  ♥

These two precious little girls weren't quite sure what to think of me, but, after a little bit they warmed up enough to give me some smiles and to let loose.  Despite the fact that it was hot, hot, hot, and the entire family was sweating, they were so sweet and such a joy to work with.
