We met with this gorgeous couple a few months ago to discuss the details of their engagement and wedding. I threw around the idea of shooting their engagement session up in the North Georgia mountains and they were all for it. I knew, right then, we were going to have a blast working together.
The day started out slightly crisp, but gorgeous. When we arrived at their hotel we found out that they had had no hot water to bathe in! Despite this hiccup, they were in good spirits and ready to tackle the trails and the ice cold water. Our first location was a relatively short hike up and they were total troopers. Let me tell you, this water is no joke. It is cold. Like, make your feet go numb in 5 seconds, cold. They jumped in, no hesitation and did everything I asked of them. We all ended up soaked (Mac forgot to take out his wallet and soaked everything in it!!) The rocks were slippery and there were a few close calls, but, in the end we all made it out alive lol!!
I am in love with these images. Every. last. one. I couldn't be more excited to share these with you all!
This next shot took some doing. My fellow photographers will totally understand, but, it took some super steady hands, a log and holding my breath to capture it:
Shaun, Samantha, we can't wait for your wedding next year - we know it will be absolutely beautiful!!
