Winge Wedding : Middle Georgia Wedding Photographer

Amanda and Taylor were one of those couples you just instantly love working with.  They were completely laid back and so. much. fun.  I knew we were going to have a blast from the moment I walked in the door and started photographing Amanda getting ready.  She was so calm and just happy.  I love when a bride just radiates excitement!  She was surrounded by several wonderfully attentive ladies (and gentlemen) who were there to help her with everything.  Even those pesky eyelashes ;)

Taylor and Amanda opted to do a first sight - we blindfolded Taylor and had Amanda sneak up behind him. I loved it!!  They were so sweet when they saw each other for the first time!

I loved the sweet tradition that they shared when Taylor gave Amanda a handkerchief that his mom had given to him to give to his bride.

Amanda fell in love with this old swing that was on the property at the wedding venue.  I fell in love with it as well!  Brave Amanda hopped up on that old swing - which of course brought on a round of giggles as we kept attempting to keep her stable!

We had a blast with this wedding party - from the fun mustaches to the enormous sunglasses, we all were laughing by the end of it!

Before the ceremony we skipped over to the reception area and got a few shots of all of the sweet details!

And then it was time for the ceremony - it was absolutely lovely and sweet.  I loved the venue - so rustic and perfect for their wedding!

After the ceremony we skipped back over to the reception area for the cutting of the cake and the dancing!  And let's just say...the cutting of the cake was quite, ahem, hilarious!!!

We took a few minutes to step away from the reception to get some photos of the bride & groom as an official married couple. I just love these - they look so in love!

As a funny little surprise, Amanda had a garter made of her favorite (and his least favorite) team - his expression, as he slid it down her leg, says it all!

Amanda and Taylor left on a 4 wheeler - very appropriate for their rustic wedding!  Amanda, Taylor, we had a wonderful time photographing your wedding.  You were both so warm, fun and friendly.  We wish you  a lifetime of happiness and love!!

Nelson Wedding : Middle Georgia Wedding Photographer

I have the privilege of meeting some really amazing people through my job.  Alison & Roy are a prime example.  Truth be told, their entire family is pretty amazing!  I could tell, just through our phone calls, that I was going to get along beautifully with Alison.  When she started telling me the details of the wedding I was so excited!  Bow ties?  Suspenders?  Yes please!  Making things even more unique was the fact that Alison and Roy had planned a very intimate wedding ceremony in February and then a reception in April to celebrate their union.  Each event was filled with love, warmth and caring family and friends.  They made me feel so welcome each time - I was blown away by their kindness.

It was just Alison, her sister and her mom getting ready in a tiny room of the church, and it was perfect.  There was no rush, no hectic atmosphere, just calm and peace.

And Alison's shoes were so gorgeous!  I fell in love with them instantly!

I loved all of the personal details that Alison included in her special day.

The ceremony, as I mentioned earlier, was very intimate.  It was so tender and so sweet and brought tears to my eyes several times!

After the ceremony we took off to downtown Augusta while her family and friends put the finishing touches on the quiet little reception at her parent's home.  We had so much fun shooting their photos!  They were up for anything, even some of my crazier ideas ;)

After we were finished with their photos we headed back t Alison's parent's home for a lovely little reception with their friends and family.  It was quaint and just perfect!

When we left I knew I was going to love working with them again come April.  I couldn't have been more right!  I loved every second of their reception celebration.  It was filled to the brim with people who truly love Alison and Roy.  The band was absolutely amazing and so much fun to watch perform.  The dance floor stayed packed!

Alison, Roy, thank you so much for being two of the kindest, warmest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with.  We just loved spending such a special time with you and your families!  We wish you nothing but absolute bliss in your lives together ♥
