Pearce Family Sneak : Middle Georgia Family Photographer

We have known Hugh for many years - I can still remember him coming to one of our first homes (a long, long time ago lol!!)  and visiting.  While we lost contact for several years (crazy how life changes isn't it?) it felt completely natural to be laughing and hanging out again during our session.  This was my first time meeting his beautiful wife and children.  I had been corresponding with Larrissa through email since May (yep, she booked her session in May!!) and knew we would get along wonderfully.  She is such a warm and sweet person.

The weather threatened to ruin our session - we woke up to gray skies and then, rain.  Thankfully by that afternoon the weather cleared up and we were able to go on with the session.  I'm so glad that the weather cooperated with us - I was in such a panic!!!

Thank you Hugh & Larrissa for waiting out the weather...we had such a wonderful time with you and your beautiful kids!!!

Rogers Family Sneak Peek : Middle Georgia Family Photographer

I have had the pleasure of working with Kaysie and her family several times now - engagement session, bridal, wedding and our most recent session - celebrating her son's 3rd birthday.  I was so excited about this entire session because I wanted to try something a little different than what I typically do.  One old sheet (it was mine when I was little!!), some string and some cupcakes and we had a cute little set up perfect for a little boy.  We all had an absolute blast during this session - he kept us cracking up licking the cupcakes and exploring!

Williams Newborn : Middle Georgia Newborn Photographer

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing this precious little boy's mommy and daddy during their maternity session. Needless to say, I was over the moon excited about finally meeting him.  This little guy was so sweet, and slept like a dream through almost the entire session.  He finally started stirring at the very end (and gave dad a bit of a surprise!!)  I enjoyed the opportunity to photograph this sweet little boy (and sneak in a few cuddles!)

Told you he was a cutie ;)

Reiter Family : Middle Georgia Family Photographer

I love when I get the opportunity to photograph people who I am lucky enough to call my friends.  Several months ago Brandi contacted me about photographing her wedding.  Our friendship bloomed from a mutual love of photography (she is starting her business as I type this!!) and a love of vintage things.  After photographing her wedding I was seriously excited about her family shoot.  I loved every single second of this shoot.  From the bubbles, to the giggles, to the lollipop drool (sugar can be a real life saver!!!)  This family is not only beautiful but truly kind and warm.  I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to document this time in their lives.

Rogers Wedding Sneak Peek : Middle Georgia Wedding Photographer

I love it when I am able to start working with my wedding clients from the beginning, starting with the engagement session.  I was fortunate enough to do this with Will and Kaysie.  I knew immediately when we met that we were the perfect match.  They were both so full of personality and so much fun.  I knew, without a doubt, that I would enjoy shooting their wedding.  So of course, I absolutely did.  The wedding was held at the beautiful Historic Statesboro Inn.  I loved the classic southern feel of the venue!

When I arrived, I found Kaysie surrounded by loving family and friends.  She looked absolutely radiant and so excited!

I just love Kaysie's expression as she holds her sweet little boy!!!

I absolutely loved the dresses that Kaysie chose for her bridesmaids - they were flowy and so beautiful!  Know what else I loved?  The vintage car that Kaysie had at the venue to use for photos!  She totally made my day!  I was in LOVE with this car!!!  And that red....swoon!

Of course the guys were handsome and so much fun - they were patient as we worked our way through the photos!  You could tell how excited Will was - so sweet!

The ceremony was short but sweet and touching.  I loved their expressions as they turned to face their guests as Mr. and Mrs. Rogers!!

As we headed out to take photos, the guests went to enjoy cocktails inside of the beautifully decorated reception hall.

We had a blast with the group shots and the beautiful Statesboro Inn was the perfect backdrop!

This little guy cracked. me. up.  He was totally working the camera!!!!

After we wrapped up the photos it was time to head into the reception for cake, fun and did I mention cake?

After cutting the cake and the toast it was time to hit the dance floor!

Right as the party settled down we captured one last photograph...it was their way to say Thank You to all of their family and friends.  I love that Kaysie created these by herself - it was the perfect personal touch!

Kaysie, Will, thank you so very much for allowing us to share your day with you.  We can't even express how much it means to have you as our new friends.  We are over the moon happy for you two and wish you a beautiful, full life together.

Ogletree Wedding Sneak Peek : Middle Georgia Wedding Photographer

Rebecca and Kyle's wedding was held at an absolutely beautiful venue - The Belle House.  Having never shot there before I was extremely excited about seeing it in person...and it didn't disappoint!  Rebecca met us outside of the venue and her smile was contagious.  You could tell she was super excited, she was absolutely radiant!!!

The huge ballroom of the The Belle House was decorated beautifully.  I loved the the colors and the way they popped in that room!

Rebecca's dress was absolutely stunning - I loved the corset back and it fit Rebecca like a glove.  It took some work to tie up the back, but, it was worth it because Rebecca was a gorgeous bride!

Rebecca and Kyle opted to do a first sight - so we set it up for Kyle to wait, with his back turned, at the edge of the pond.  Their family and friends crammed onto the balcony to watch and snap photos of Rebecca walking over to meet Kyle.  You could feel the excitement in the air!  I loved Kyle's reaction - they were so sweet seeing each other for the first time!!

After the first sight we took Rebecca and Kyle to a beautiful wooded area for their photos.  I love how first sights allow more time for the bride and groom's photos (and it gives them time to rest after the ceremony!)

I had a blast with their bridal & groom parties - they kept me laughing the entire time.  They were up for getting as crazy as they could - love it when that happens!

After a lovely ceremony it was time to head to the reception for the first dance!  They were so sweet as they danced - look at Rebecca's smile!

After cutting the cake it was time for the toast and then the party really started!!!

Rebecca & Kyle - we had a fabulous time with you at your wedding!  You were both so kind and patient and wonderful!  We hope you had a fantastic honeymoon and good luck to you guys on your move!!!!  Thank you for allowing us to spend such a special day with you!!
